]]> The long-awaited 2-Piece 100% composite.  Our grass-roots following has been begging us for a two-piece BBCOR bat that will have DSB’s legendary pop AND durability.  Well, here it is, the Bravo BBCOR . Step up to the plate with the added confidence of our vibration dampening bull connection. You will never see this bat broken in half with DSB’s proprietary Bravo Bull connection. The Bull connection allows for a similar feel to a our one piece composite BBCOR but is slightly more forgiving on hits outside of the sweet spot. This bat is also constructed with our proprietary Unified Vortex fibers. Unified Vortex Fibers (UVF) changes the game for the Bravo. You do not want continuous dead-air in the construction of a composite bat (think double walls). UVF allows trampoline channels throughout the barrel to maximize performance without ever sacrificing durability. ]]> https://dirtysouthbats.com/product/dsb-bravo-bbcor/feed/ 0 SWAG S7 23 BBCOR https://dirtysouthbats.com/product/swag-s7-23-bbcor/ https://dirtysouthbats.com/product/swag-s7-23-bbcor/#respond Wed, 27 Jul 2022 14:12:36 +0000 https://dirtysouthbats.com/?post_type=product&p=24489 The SWAG S7 2023 BBCOR is a continued evolution to push on the balance, but not sacrifice the coefficient testing numbers.  Most know that with BBCOR, a manufacturer can produce a hotter bat by shifting the balance out towards the endcap which makes it more end-loaded.  We could make an extreme balanced bat, but we would sacrifice pop so we do not do it.  The Swag is more balanced than the Filthy.  The 23 model tries to maintain the pop while increasing the balance feel.  We recommend this model for 90% of the high school kids playing.  We feel most players cannot take advantage of the hotter end-load since the decreased swing speed will offset such advantage.  Our one-piece composite provides a huge sweetspot when compared to alloy bats.  Most alloy bats have 50% less hitting surface than our composite bat.  We feel that this gives the hitter more consistency as no hitter is squaring the ball-up on every swing.  No need to take a rifle approach in a shotgun world. ]]> DSB’s first entry into an alloy bat was a decision not taken lightly, but we caved to our customer requests.  DSB partnered with a company that is an expert in alloy manufacturing who is located in the US, Europe and Asia.  Many parts of this bat are coming from all 3 places.  But since only our composite bat is made 100% in Georgia the Deeds will not have the “Made in the USA” moniker.  Full disclosure always.

Deeds was designed to try and be as balanced as possible for an alloy bat.  The balance is in between our Swag (more balanced) and the Filthy (more end-loaded).  The 33/30 has about 7” of sweetbarrel vs Swag at about 9” and Filthy at 10”.  No matter what you hear, an alloy bat is hottest out of the wrapper and will decline from there.  A composite is the complete opposite.

Out of the wrapper, Deeds is a strong contender and rivals our composite line-up in performance.  But eventually our composite bats will exceed Deeds’ performance.

Who is the target-customer for the Deeds?  1) Price conscious customers who do not want to spend $450 on a premium composite bat.  2) Customers in cold-weather climates who want to have alloy as an option (we dispute which material is better in the cold….).  3) Customers who want to put mileage on an alloy bat and save the life of their composite bat.

Our DSB faithful know that DSB would never introduce a dud so have complete confidence that Deeds will live up to its DSB badge.  Compare Deeds to any other alloy bat and you will hear the DSB difference.  Deeds does not sound like the others.  A common theme starting with DSB composite.

No.  But the Kevlar will help to reinforce under isolated conditions (think college baseball players).

]]> DSB’s latest BBCOR model is the DNGR in a Gun Metal Gray finish. DSB BBCOR bats are some of the softest, most sting-free, one-piece bats available on the market. Our BBCOR line provides the most pop allowable within the certification requirement.   A one-piece bat offers the opportunity to produce the most power for a hitter.  Like weak-link in chain adages, anytime you add a connection, (think 2-pc bats) it will rob some of the power, which will sacrifice distance.  A hitter wants all the energy force to remain in the barrel to produce the greatest trampoline.  Our competitors’ 2piece or 3piece connection bats are absorbing and robbing energy from the trampoline of their bats.   But does our bat jar the hands?  No, we’ve figured out how to eliminate any sting on hits.   Our BBCOR bats are very soft-feeling, allowing the hitter to maximize his swing.Considering this bat is a high-performance bat, we recommend that you do not wear it out in a batting cage.  Obviously, your hitter needs to be comfortable with the bat and needs to use it in practice from time to time, but we recommend making it mainly a game-day bat.  Save its performance for the field.  In the BBCOR models, there is no difference between the Kamo, DNGR or Demon bats, other than the graphics.
