Dirt Demon -2020

2020 Demon was completely overhauled, but still maintains the lowest compression (pop) of our lineup. The biggest change is that it could be the most balanced bat. In the drops ABOVE drop 8 (i.e. in a drop 9, 10, drop 11), it will have some reduced sweet spot as compared to our other models, but we added more weight to the handle than DNGR. The Demon construction will yield the lowest compression of all the models in anything above drop 8, so younger, smaller kids can compress the barrel easier. The hit/miss ratio could increase, but if your son can hit it on the screws, then do not hesitate. Previous Demon models do NOT have the handle weight.

The 2020 Demon drop 5 is the speed barrel similar to the 2020 Swag. This drop 5 is incredibly balanced, as we add 3 oz of weight to the handle, making this bat feel no heavier than a drop 8. If you want the man-child drop 5 elongated sweet barrel, then the Kamo is your choice.

SWAG 2023

We are always trying to maximize the trampoline of our bat without creating a durability issue. Based on the very-low returns the previous 6 generations we have continued to push the envelope to decrease the compression it takes to make the ball jump. The drop 12s and smaller length bats are still running a little heavy, we have taken out about .4-.8 ounces of static weight from these sizes. We are still not perfect and our bat will always run higher than stated weight due to the grip, but the avg size is running about .7 over and a little more in the drop 12 to where it is swinging more like a drop 11. This decrease does help to shift the swing-weight to improving the balance of the bat. Everyone will ask what is different on this bat? Simple answer the 23 continues to be 1) lower compression (higher trampoline) and 2) reduced weight.

Drop 5 23 SWAG continues with the speed barrel design. Weight is added to the handle to make it a true drop 5 static-weight giving the drop 5 the most balanced bat on the market. Better balance should mean faster swing speed. The compression on the 23 model is over 100lbs less than the 22 model.

Drop 8 23 SWAG in 31/23 and 32/24 compression has decreased 100lbs+ as well. These sizes are tanks and provide massive barrel with great balance. As in last years model, the 30/22 drop 8 is a softer compression which is ideal for contact hitters who need more pop when moving to a drop 8. If your son needs the man-child drop 8 then look at DNGR and KAMO.

This 125 limited-edition 1.15bpf USSSA bat is priced at $350 where ALL of the proceeds will be donated to the Sparks family, Waukesha Community, and Blazers baseball and fastpitch community. The Waukesha Blazers Baseball Club is a 501C3 non-profit entity (EIN 39-1746337) so your purchase will have an element of tax-deductibility. Since you are receiving an item we estimate the value of the bat to be $150 thus providing an estimated tax deduction of $200. SWAG 22

DSB Kamo Orange

This 2 5/8 one-piece all composite bat has the same construction and barrel as the SWAG in the same drops, but we have reinforced the taper with Kevlar to put it on steroids. The taper is the part of the bat that is above the grip that reduces down from the barrel. A stronger taper will continue to help reduce the flex in the bat in order to keep the trampoline concentrated in the sweetbarrel (and the reason that we do not like 2 piece bats i.e. that connection robs power). This bat is designed for power hitters facing faster pitching, who at times, can flex the taper, thus robbing power. This feature will not penalize contact hitters and of course the reinforced taper does not come into play on every swing/pitch. In keeping with DSB’s philosophy, this one-piece bat offers players the most power available in our lineup.

Kamo and Sniper in the drop 5 have MASSIVE sweetbarrels which are geared towards a man-child. We do not recommend this for most kids, but the kids who do use them will have success if they can swing this barrel through the zone and not have the barrel swing them. The KAMO is a 1.15BPF USSSA certified bat & 100% American made.
